Fourteen hundred years ago, the immortal legend of mesomorph-sized Greek demigod, Hercules, is challenged with twelve mighty labors; whilst dealing with the untimely loss of noble family members and negating larger-than-life spiritual figures. The blue-blooded thoroughbred, Hercules, is the mighty son of God king Zeus, beginning an arduous journey after being haunted by the burning sins cast upon him from his troubled past. Hercules – neither mere man nor mythical God – decidedly becomes a feared mercenary in finding an appetite for unbridled anarchy to survive.

Along with five faithful companions, Hercules (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson) travels BC ancient Greece to sell his adept sword swinging services for gold, and utilise a richly heralded reputation to intimidate and nullify villainous enemies in his path.

When the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his beloved daughter imminently seek Hercules’ assistance to defeat a barbaric and bezerk warlord, Hercules ultimately finds that in order for good to essentially triumph and justice to prevail, he must revert to becoming a messiah he once was. Hercules aims to embrace his own mountainous myth, and discover the inner warrior that echoes within.

‘Hercules’ is released worldwide on July 25, 2014.
