It seems that each week there is a reason for our favourite celebrities to put on their best dress and hit the red carpet. There was a ton of stars strutting their stuff but only a few made the cut…
“PILLOWTALK,” the evocative debut single and video by Zayn, are available today. The video for “PILLOWTALK” features Zayn with model Gigi Hadid and was directed by multi-award winning filmmaker Bouha Kazmi (Flicker, Jay-Z’s Onto The Next One). “PILLOWTALK” is the first single from Zayn’s highly anticipated debut album MIND OF MINE, which will be available on March 25 via RCA Records. The release of MIND OF MINE comes on the anniversary of Zayn’s decision to become a solo artist and focus on the next chapter of his music evolution. “Once they hear it, I feel like they will understand me a little bit more,” Zayn recently disclosed to FADER. “For 10 years, this album has been in my brain, and it’s just been there, sat with me, needing to be out.”

Undisputedly, it was a shocking bittersweet and defining sporting moment where time suddenly stood still. It was the ultimate knockout that was heard loudly from around the entire world. The unthinkable become the fathomable when Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm (10-0) triumphantly dispatched then undefeated “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey (12-1) inside the jubilant sold out Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia before a record-setting 56,214 at UFC 193 on November 15, 2015. A newfound changing of the guard in women’s Mixed Martial Arts had been christened, with the Holm era unassumingly ushering and rectifying a brand new day in women’s Mixed Martial Arts. “The Preacher’s Daughter” took a tremendous leap of faith in exhibiting that the supposed unconquerable was indeed conquerable. Rousey’s innate overconfidence and bravado become relative complacency.
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great makes you feel that you, too, can become great.”
Making the right connections with individuals is extremely vital in life, whether it is on a personal or professional front. Truth be told, we often foster the cliched notion of quantity over quality, which in turn sees us leaving our valued integrity at the front door and inviting relative beautiful strangers into our own lives. Popularity in itself has been preached as a mythical synonym for coolness, whilst we remotely undertake drastic measures to become more remotely accepted in our lives without the principles of our own happiness being touched upon.
We have all heard this saying, or have even used it in our daily lives, but the meaning behind these word serves a greater purpose and act as great encouragement. Life is not easy and no matter how priviledged you are, no matter what race or what gender or whatever difference there is that distinguishes us from one individual to the next; we are all at some point bound to face challenging times.
As a massive music fan I love to discover up and coming talents that haven’t quite made it to the mainstream charts but have the full potential to be stars in their own right. When it comes to raw talent or untouched / unsigned artists their music is much more ambitious and edgy which is what makes them stand out.
